That’s why we’ve put together a guide so you can plan an epic holiday party this year.
Here are our 6 DOs and two DON’TS to make sure your holiday party is a success
DO PLAN AHEAD
A perfect party means plenty of planning. Start envisioning your party now. The guest list, the venue, the delectable bites you will serve, the drinks people will sip, and the music everyone will be dancing to. Start a vision board on Pinterest to get your creative juices flowing and then you can start to bring ideas to life.
DO THINK ABOUT YOUR GUEST LIST AND INVITE THEM EARLY
Your guests can make or break your party. People’s calendars get pretty packed in the Fall and Winter so give them plenty of notice. Invite a mixture of couples and singles to mix it up. No one wants to be the lone ranger single gal at a party, plus it’s always fun for people to mingle with a variety of individuals. Once you have your list solidified send out invites so guests can mark their calendar and RSVP stat.
DO PLAN FESTIVE BITES
Here’s where your Pinterest board can come to life. Finger foods like crostini and mini skewers work well so guests can continue to socialize and dance. These puff pastry Christmas trees look so yummy and dancing guests who want to refuel will inhale these festive pigs in a blanket.
DO HAVE SOME GO-TO DRINKS

DO MAKE A PLAYLIST

DO SET UP A DANCE FLOOR
Clear some space and give guests a place to get down. You don’t need a ton of space, just enough room for guests to move about. Consider rearranging furniture and making sure the dance floor is easily accessible for quick entry and exit.
DON’T RUN OUT OF FOOD OR DRINK
Happy guests are well-fed and well-hydrated. Check on the food and bar area periodically and refill as necessary. It’s always better to have leftover food and drink then to run out completely.
DON’T FORGET ABOUT AMBIANCE
Think about the scene you want to set for your party. Dim lights, comfortable temperature, enough seating, and music that’s volume is just right. All these little details will really add to your guest’s experience and make it all the more enjoyable.
