As an Arthur Murray student, you know that we are always challenging you to grow, both physically and emotionally. Learning to dance has given you increased confidence and now it’s time for you to grow again.
You can show off those dance skills that you’ve been learning by participating in one of our dance showcases. Our showcases are a great way to fine tune your skills and take your dancing skills to the next level.
What is An Arthur Murray Dance Showcase?
We’re so glad you asked! An Arthur Murray Dance Now Showcase is a celebration of dance! Students prepare dance routines and then showcase them in front of their peers and fellow dancers.
Dance routines can be hilarious and simple to dramatic and complex. In our showcase, dancers get the chance to express their love for dance. We don’t have to worry about impressing anyone. The crowd is there to cheer on the dancers no matter their skill level!
Why Should I Participate in An Arthur Murray Dance Showcase?
You might be wondering why you should dance in a showcase. Just the idea of performing in front of others might send sweat beads down your forehead. But remember how nervous you were on your first day of dance lessons? And look at you now! We know you have grown in skill level and confidence and we want to help you continue to grow. Participating in a dance showcase can do just that!
Joining one of our showcases can really push your limits and allow you to see just how far you’ve come. Think about it like this: when a runner signs up for a marathon they may not have ever run those 26 straight miles before. But once they sign up for the marathon, they work harder than they ever have and then they do it! It’s never easy but it is always rewarding. Participating in a showcase can be a lot like that. You don’t think you can do it, but you really are capable!
Our showcases are also a lot of fun! You’ll gather with fellow dancers to practice and perform. Then on the big night you’ll have the chance to socialize with other dancers. It’s a great place to catch up with friends and even meet some new ones.
